Four inches higher makes all the difference in the world. That's right the big world at this little address of mine. The world is under my two feet and all around and above. Confirmation enough!

This is Rita's fence I made last summer. Finally with the snow it's easy to camera see.

                          There is a small foot traffic gate to the left and a drive through on the right.        
                                                    It is a pleasure to use and live with.

On the cutting board is a watermelon I grew from seed saved from a local farm stand . The foliage alone was worth growing. Unlike the squashes that it mingled with this plant didn't have any bugs,
 worms etc..

Here they are , a  Blue Hubbard and a little water melon. Their both 
Grown from saved seed. The plan; last year this time and the success this year. One full calender circle. Very rewarding!

Hemlock tomatoes

                                        Rita was throwing green tomatoes around for our dog Jules. One landed impaled up in the hemlock tree. If you tried to do it......... Well we just had to add more! Treed Green Tomatoes

Kortney of the Quartz


Kortney was given to us by our neighbor Pete last year. For all her glory she stands only 18" tall. She could fill the Palace Royal in Paris. She serves the Quarts too.
